The new restaurant leads naturally from the bar area. It looks out over the garden and river beyond. It is decorated simply, retaining the bar’s traditional feel yet offering a more contemporary outlook. The fabrics have been carefully chosen – tassles and fringing add a touch of refinement. In the evening, the linen-draped solid wood tables are lit with candlelight. At all times, diners are served attentively by our friendly waiting staff.

The main menu reflects both traditional and contemporary tastes and is available lunchtimes and evenings. Choose from a wide range of dishes that are freshly prepared with the finest local ingredients. Daily specials and puddings are advertised in the restaurant. The extensive wine list boasts a selection of 50 premier red and white wines. The restaurant now opens as a coffee shop every morning except Sunday.
